Michael was born in Galway. He lived in the U.S.A. for eight years, returning to Sligo for sixteen years and then moved back to his native Galway.
He paints mostly in oils but says he will try anything once.
Mostly he likes to paint figures and landscapes.
Michael has had no classes because he is trying to find his own style.
He has exhibited for the last two years with the Galway Art Club at their annual summer exhibition.
Michael likes shadows in landscapes. He has an eye for detail and loves painting people and animals.
