Barbara O’ Malley born in Lettermore, Connemara is now living at The Lodge, Bealadangan, Connemara, Co. Galway. Barbara’s interest in painting began at second level with art teacher, the late Maura Regan Craven.
Progressing further with tutors such as Derek Biddulph, numerous Summer schools with Kenneth Webb, and Desmond Turner of the Achill School of painting.
Barara focuses mainly on painting landscapes as it is so readily accessible, with oil on canvas.
She has exhibited paintings with Galway Art Club, Grays Hall, Achill Island, among others, with paintings sold to USA, Germany, France, and including Ireland.
