Mary Duffy continued
Mary Hawkins Duffy was born near the picturesque village of Flagmount in County Clare. She has lived in Rockbarton, Salthill for the past forty years.
Mary has been painting all her adult life, she worked as a Nurse/Midwife in University College Hospital until 2010, but always painted on a part time basis. Since retiring she has devoted a lot more time to her art.
Mary paints landscapes, seascapes and still life.
In her work she uses oils, acrylics and pastels.
Mary received her formal tuition in art at The Paint Box School of Art in Barna.
She exhibits her paintings with the Galway Art Club and her paintings can be viewed at G Furniture and Carpets, Galway.
Mary receives her inspiration from the beauty of the sea and the landscape that surround her.
