Sheelagh Keegan continued

Sheelagh Keegan is originally from Athlone and is now settled in Galway. She has painted only sporadically over the last 20 years due to family commitments but now hopes to devote more time to her passion.
She is mainly a self taught artist and has worked with charcoal, silk paints, oils and acrylics. Currently she is painting with acrylics and enjoys mainly painting landscape and still life.
Sheelagh mainly paints from photographs and also enjoys painting outdoors. Irish rural landscapes are a favourite of hers and she enjoys capturing the rustic colours and beautiful skies that are typical to Ireland.
She has exhibited with the Galway Art Club for the past few years.
